Summary of thesis

In this project we will investigate proliferative kidney disease, an emerging parasitic disease of salmonids, which is suspected to be driven by enviornmental temperature change. Testing the hypothesis that increased enviornmental temperature modulates the immuno-competence of the fish host and thereby impairs its resistance to the parasitic infection.
