Participation
Activities are primarily intended for PhD students belonging to the DPEE. If there are places available, master students and postdocs from CUSO universities may attend free of charge but traveling/accommodation expenses cannot be reimbursed by this program. If there are places available, academics from non-CUSO universities may attend but will have to pay registration fees.
Reimbursement
DPEE doctoral students attending an activity organized (or recognized) by the DPEE (see the list) are eligible for reimbursement. See details and specific conditions here.
Cancellation policy
Courses are often very popular, with long waiting lists. They might be free for participants, but they come at great cost for the universities.
In case of late cancellation (i.e. after the registration deadline) or no-show, an administrative fee will be demanded to participate in the costs engendered. Claims will be proportional to the course length and costs, ranging between 25 and 100 CHF.
End of thesis procedure
Inform the doctoral program coordinator (ecologie-evolution(at)cuso(dot)ch) that you are finishing your PhD thesis. If all the requirements are fulfilled, you will receive a certificate from the DPEE with the list of all the activities you attended in a delay of maximum three weeks.
Do not forget to mark yourself as "alumnus/a" in your MyCUSO profile. This way you are excluded from the mailing list.
