| Summary of thesis | We will investigate the transmission pathways of socially learnt behaviours with a focus on immigrant males in a population of wild vervet monkeys. We will used GPS devices and accelerometers to record home range and behaviours of the focus individuals and infer information about the social structure. We will perform cognitive test with touchscreen experiments. We will carry on genetics analyses to determine the potential influence of kinship. |
