Summary of thesis

This thesis project is based on the 3-year longitudinal study SEROCoV-KIDS which aims at monitoring and determining the overall impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the health and development of a population-based sample of children and adolescents, aged between 6 months and 17 years, living in the Canton of Geneva. The longitudinal monitoring will be based on serological assessment and repeated digital/clinical evaluations via the Specchio-KIDS digital platform.

Children and adolescents are randomly selected from registers by the Federal office of statistics (FSO) and the target number of participants in the cohort is 3000, ~1000 being adolescents. The first data collection will start in October 2021.
