Identification, Characterization and Total Synthesis of Secondary Metabolites in Nematodes (Chemical Ecology, Metabolomics, Total Synthesis)

In my PhD thesis, I have tried to synthesis recently discovered metabolites and test them in different bioassays, I tried to identify new secondary metabolites in various nematode species using a combination of comparative metabolomics, molecular networking and large scale cultivation and isolation, I identified the function of an undescribe gene in C. elegans as well as investigated secondary metabolite production under different treatment conditions.
