Summary of thesis

We aim to investigate gesture performance in patients with depression and healthy controls using the test of upper limb apraxia (TULIA). Moreover, we will apply a modified version of the TULIA during an fMRI scan in order to investigate and compare BOLD activation in the brain during gesture performance in and between patients and controls. In addition, we will examine if gesture performance is related to motor function, functional outcomes, cognition, and other aspects of non-verbal communication.
