| Summary of thesis | The subject of my doctoral work is to integrate molecular phenotypes into traditional Genome-Wide Association Studies (GWAS) linking genotypes to disease phenotypes and risk factors. For this purpose, I am working with data from CoLaus , which is a population based cohort study of about 6’000 participants from the Lausanne area that aims to obtain information on genetic determinants of cardiovascular risk factors and diseases. |
