| Summary of thesis | The mechanisms of aging are still poorly understood, and questions such as why do we age and what drives the process of aging from a molecular or cell perspective are challenging. Moreover, different experimental designs and different data are available to study aging in different species. Therefore, the broad objective of my thesis is to improve data integration and interspecies analysis of gene and network effects on aging. This is done within the SystemsX.ch consortium AgingX. |
