| Summary of thesis | My project focuses on co-culturing retinas and iPSC derived retinal pigment epithelial cells (iRPE) for the establishment of a novel drug development tool for ocular therapies. This includes: i) prolong duration of iRPE-retina co-culture for more than 14 days, ii) analysis and characterization of retinal cell types and synaptic interactions in long term culture, iii) electroretinogram measurement of co-culture at >8h of culture. |
