| Summary of thesis | Late blight is currently the worse disease affecting potato crop cause by the pathogen Phytophthora infestans. It has alrady been shown that (1) some microorganisms are able to inhibit P. infestans growth and (2) that some plants are able to "select" beneficial microorganisms to help them against an infection. This PhD project aims at finding biocontrol agents specifically against P. infectans by combining traditional microbiology and NGS methods. |
