Description

Please visit the Symposium website for details and registration

During this symposium, we will discuss the function of plant photoreceptor as light sensor and beyond, such as their role as thermosensor. A key focus will be the connection between light perception and energetic metabolismwhich gained interest recently-highlighted in sessions on photoreceptor-regulated plant nutrition and photosynthesis. Additionally, the symposium will extend its discussions to other photosynthetic organisms, featuring new insights into photoreception in diatoms and photoreceptor function in algae.

Talks from the participants will be selected based on the abstract. There will also be two poster sessions with each poster presenter having a short oral presentation to highlight/advertise her/his poster.
Finally, formal sessions will be organized where experienced experts in the field will meet young researchers to discuss science or career related issues.
