This symposium aims to facilitate the exchange of ideas and new discoveries among scientists in the topic of apoplastic diffusion barriers.

It will be composed of talks from the invited speakers, talks selected from the participants and poster sessions.

The symposium will give the chance to PhD students in the middle/end of their thesis to expose their work and discuss it in an international atmosphere. Many informal moments will be proposed to promote discussions and networking.

The following reimbursmements apply exclusivey with a minimum of 6 CUSO Students registered to the event and for a maximum of 8 CUSO MPS Students.

Reimbursements for CUSO MPS Students:
> 300 CHF of Registration fees will be covered by the CUSO - Refund can be asked after the event
> Train ticket, 2°class, half-fare from your institution to the place of the activity - reimbursement online through your MyCUSO. See HERE for the procedure.
> Accomodation (only for CUSO members of UNIBE, UNINE, UNIFR and UNIGE) : 1 night (2 September), up to 100 CHF for the night + taxes + breakfast. Refund can be asked after the event.

Deadline for Pre-registration: April 15, 2026
Deadline for Cancelation: April 15, 2026 (after this date you are bind to attend the conference or find a CUSO MPS Student that will take your place)

> After April 15 the CUSO MPS coordinator will contact you to confirm your pre-registration and confirming that we reached a minimum of 6 CUSO MPS participants.
> After confirmation of pre-registration you can register on the official webpage of the event
