MEEhubs2024 (http://meehubs.org) is a global conference on Microbial Ecology and Evolution, where we want to experiment with a hybrid model that retains benefits of virtual conferences through remote content, and in person interactions in local hubs across the globe. MEEHubs2024 aims to facilitate everyone coming together in an inclusive space; a space that is supportive to early career researchers while recognizing the legacy and work of those that came before us. One of the hubs will be in Lausanne and we will have 4 invited speakers (listed above) in addition to those we will hear remotely at the other hubs. There will also be plenty of time for discussion with other participants, whether they attend locally or at the other hubs.
