Description

This activity introduces the principles of Flow Cytometry and its applications in microbiology.

The morning session will focus on theoretical presentations:

  • Fundamentals of flow cytometry
  • Applications in microbiology

In the afternoon, participants will attend a live demonstration showcasing various flow cytometry applications (details to be confirmed).

Program

Morning (theory) :

  • Principle of Flow Cytometry
  • Break
  • Flow Cytometry and Microbiology

Afternoon (Practical Sessions, small groups):

  • Setting of a Flow Cytometer (Voltages, Compensations)
  • Analysis of micro-organism by flow Cytometry (Bactérias, Phytoplancton, yeast...)
  • Imaging Flow Cytometry and Microbiology

Expenses
