The practical work consists in carrying out the different steps of a study aiming at defining the genetic structure of populations: data management, data analysis using usual computer programs in population genetics, graphical representations, interpretation of the results. The theoretical concepts are introduced at the beginning of each course and trained during the practical sessions. This training course is intended for students in the UNIGE Master in biology but also for PhD students UNIGE will cover hiring expenses of 2 assistants, CUSO will cover hiring expenses of other 2 other assistants. |
