| Description | Understanding how complex cellular networks achieve the physiological function of multicellular organisms remains a major challenge in life science. The advent of increasingly powerful single-cell omic techniques allows us to gain insight into biological processes or disease mechanisms with unprecedented resolution: a single cell. The current workshop will provide an overview of recent advances in single-cell biology, with a strong focus on how these techniques revolutionize our understanding of widely impacting questions in life science. Integrating transcriptomic, gene regulation or imaging continuously increase the depth of how biological processes can be studied. In the workshop leading scientists in the filed covering diverse technical approaches will introduce the basics of the technologies used, the implementation into state-of-the-art research and present their recent work. |
