| Description | This course introduces essential computational tools and techniques for early-career researchers in biology, building upon basic computer skills typically acquired at the undergraduate level. It focuses on the GNU/Linux command line (BASH) and scripting tools, which provide powerful and efficient means for data manipulation, automating file formatting and computations, and leveraging high-performance computing clusters. The course is designed for both beginners and more experienced users, with a progressive increase in complexity over four days. While prior experience in computing or programming is helpful, it is not required. |
