| Description | Every year since 2008, the Department of Ecology and Evolution of the University of Lausanne, supported by the School of Biology, organises the Careers in Conservation Day. This day is aimed at students interested in pursuing a career in the field of conservation. In Lausanne, this event is integrated into the Bachelor's degree in biology and the Master's degree in Behaviour, Evolution and Conservation (BEC). This day allows participants to:
At this event, you will have the opportunity to learn about the various organizations (local and international), associations, parks, and applied ecology offices offering career opportunities in the field of conservation. It is also an excellent opportunity to learn about the career paths of representatives from these organizations, to interact with them and ask them your questions, but also to identify the skills required to obtain a position or an internship in conservation. The detailed program can be found on the event website. You will be able to ask questions to the speakers during the question sessions and during the coffee breaks. We hope to see many of you on this Career Day to discover some of the protagonists of conservation in Switzerland and around the world. |
