Description | ObjectivesThe participants learn the essential features of oral and poster presentations that contribute to making a long-lasting, professional impression. In a half-day workshop the participants practice their presentations, are able to critically review the presentations of their peers and to give each other feedback. ContentPreparation and structure of a scientific presentation: talks and posters; Structure of the courseFriday 4th; Input talk on oral presentations and posters (all participants*) 10.30-12.30: Guidelines for the design and production of scientific posters; oral presentations of posters Transfer period for preparing a short talk OR a poster about their research work and implementing the essential elements of professional presentations. Workshop Half-day workshop (4h) in groups of max. 6 participants with videotaping and feedback: poster presentations (three minutes each) or oral presentations (eight minutes each) by the participants. Each participant attends one of the 2 workshops. Workshop 1: Thursday 17 November 13h00-17h00 |
