The conceptThis workshop, based on a concept developed by Steve Stearns and John Maynard Smith, takes place in a beautiful small Alpine village (Arolla), which will allow you to focus while being able to enjoy the landscape and the Alpine flora. Participants will receive a course confirmation for 3 credit points (European Credit Transfer System). If this is important for you, check in advance if they will be recognized by your university
LocationThe workshop will take place in a 1904-build mountain hotel Aiguille de la Tza located at the altitude of 1900 m near the an Alpine village of Arolla. It can be easily reached by public transport (2:30h from Lausanne, 3:30h from Geneva airport, 5h from Zürich airport). Room and board will be provided. ContactTadeusz J. Kawecki |

Expenses | PhD students from the CUSO universities (uniBE, uniFR, uniGE, uniL, uniNE) can attend for free. Others will pay the costs of their room and board, approximately CHF 430.- |
