| Summary of thesis | The aim of my thesis is to evaluate the influence of psychotropic drugs on the development of the metabolic syndrome in the psychiatric population and to find some SNPs within candidate genes that are significantly associated with obesity, dyslipidemia hypertension and other metabolic features. In the future, it would be a nice tool to identify patients at risk to develop such side effects and choose the right treatment for the right person. |
