Three-spined Sticklebacks and Lake Victoria Cichlids are known for their unusually high speciation rates and adaptive radiations. We will use species and ecotype pairs at various stages of speciation to investigate speciation in adaptive radiations from a genomic view and to integrate these findings with morphological, biogeographical and ecological data, in order to get a deeper understanding of mechanisms influencing speciation from the beginning to completion.
