|Summary of thesis||
The thesis is part of the EU project BEE DOC (BEes in Europe and the Decline Of honeybee Colonies) and deals with specific interactions between two model pesticides, the parasit Nosema ceranae and the black queen cell virus in honeybees on colony level. Beside a 2-years-survey of Nosema ceranae in 60 honeybee colonies in Switzerland, the thesis includes different field and lab experiments.
