The overview of these techniques and examples of its application in plants will provided by the invited speakers. The talks will be followed by interactive discussions about potential challenges when using these techniques and future perspectives. The second part focuses on in silico CRISPR/Cas9 design: the students will be given an opportunity to learn how to find gRNA's to target specific genes in Arabidopsis genome. This will also include an overview of available bioinformatics tools for CRIPR/Cas9 design.
The participants MUST bring their OWN LAPTOPS for the afternoon session. |
