Description

The objective is to introduce to the audience the general concept, state-of-the-art of AI, application areas in biology and good examples of what AI can discover compared to traditional approaches, what are the goals, and what is likely to be achieved in the foreseeable future. It will also include a talk about the philosophy and ethics of AI. Target audience are PhD students with diverse backgrounds in life sciences, but the workshop should also be of interest to Master students, postdocs and PIs.
