The Symposium represents a major international event in the field of Chemical Biology with a keynote address and plenary lectures from outstanding international speakers. The aim of the conference is to learn more about the latest advances in the field and to foster an open and dynamic dialogue amongst the scientists conducting this exciting research. Two specially designed events will give the opportunity to the PhD students and postdocs present to meet with the speakers on a one to one basis. Fee waiver/ travel grant fellowships are open to junior scientists (PhD students, Postdocs) that work in Switzerland or in Europe and are not members of the NCCR Chemical Biology. Program

The conference is organised by the National Centre of Competence in Research (NCCR) "Chemical Biology". This consortium of 28 research teams across Switzerland enables chemists, biologists and biophysicists to collaboratively exploit chemistry tools to obtain a better understanding of life at the molecular level.

New international collaborations and increased international visibility will hopefully be the outcome of this unique learning experience.
Program. The Symposium will include 13 plenary lectures and plenty of time will be given for discussion after the talks and during poster sessions with social mixers. Two specially designed lunch time events will give to the PhD students and postdocs present the opportunity to meet with the speakers on a one to one basis.
