Description

The Impromptu 2018 will be comprised of two parts: 1. On Thursday afternoon, there will be a workshop for the students together with a select number of invited international speakers. PhD students will first have the opportunity to briefly present their topics, in 3-5 min. These presentations will be followed by group discussions on the big unresolved questions in the field, and how to address them. After some discussion time, each group will present their roadmap for the way forward. 2. On Friday, the external speakers will present their own research in a more formal setting.
