Description

1st day, 22. November (afternoon):

 

15:30 – 18:30 Discussion, on the PhD's work, with Orkun Soyer, University of Warwick and Melanie Blokesch, EPFL. PhD students have the opportunity to briefly present their topics. These presentations are followed by a round table discussion. The students will discuss the concepts behind their research project, while the speakers will give advice on career planning in science.

 

2nd day, 23. November: The external speakers will present their own research in the field of "Synthetic Biology":

CUSO Microbiology students: Train ticket, 2°class, half-fare from your institution to the place of the activity; meal expenses (1meal/day) up to 25CHF/meal.

For your lodgment during the course for the night 22th the costs will be covered by CUSO (up to 90.-CHF per night).
