CUSO satellite activity Swiss Virology Meeting 2016

The CUSO satellite activity of the Swiss Virology Meeting 2016 consists of a half-day activity specially for PhD students on the first day (February 2 2016). CUSO co-organizes a special session dedicated to Ph.D students on the ''hot topic'' ''viruses as tools'' with the invited speaker Prof. Toni Carthomen (University of Freiburg, Germany). On the second day CUSO co-organizes the invited seminar of Dr. Jane Hammond, Global Head and Senior Vice President Infectious Diseases at Roche Pharma, who will give Ph.D students a perspective on activities and careers in pharmaceutical industry. This activity consists of a presentation by Dr. Hammond followed by a lunch and round-table discussion with the students.
