Summary of thesis

Quantifying the linkages between anthropogenic stressors, climate change and loss and changes in biodiversity within Lamu. This will involve setting up field-based data collection and a longer-term monitoring system to obtain data to support the evaluation of species and habitat vulnerability and the analysis of the relationship between biodiversity change, such as composition, structure and distribution, and climate change in relation to other factors such as land use and land cover change patterns such as urbanization, agriculture, forestry and water management, construction, mining of raw materials.
