Description

This training course provides students with basic knowledge in population genetics through computer-assisted analyses of different molecular datasets provided by the teachers. The practical work consists in carrying out the different steps of a study aiming at defining the genetic structure of populations: data management, data analysis using usual computer programs in population genetics, graphical representations, interpretation of the results. The theoretical concepts are introduced at the beginning of each course and trained during the practical sessions. One or several scientific conferences are also given by invited speakers. This training course is for students following the master in biology and for DPEE PhD students.
