The Invited Seminar Series of the CUSO Doctoral Program in Microbial Sciences 2015 will represent a continuation of the successful invited seminar series of the past 4 years of the program. In 2015, at least 3 invited seminars & student activities will be held at UNIGE, a maximum of 3 invited seminars at UNIL, and the two others at UNINE and/or UNIFR. The invited speakers will visit the host institution for an entire day. After the seminar, the speaker will meet with a selected group of 6-8 students for an interactive session of 2 hours. This interactive format requires preparative work by the students of 6-8 hours including reading of key publications, preparation of a presentation on the topic. The student activity is subject to evaluation by the invited speaker and the CUSO host.
