Description

ADE4 is a software containing Data Analysis functions to analyse Ecological and Environmental data in the framework of Euclidean Exploratory methods. Since 2002, ade4 is a package of the R software, available for Windows, Mac OS, Linux et Unix OS.


ade4 is characterized by :
- the implementation of graphical and statistical functions
- the availability of numerical data
- the redaction of technical and thematic documentation
- the inclusion of bibliographic references

 

Objectives:
1. Training of the basic functions of ade4 package for R : import/export of data, realization of graphs adapted to every type of methods, and interpretation of analyses output
2. Manipulation of the software for basic analyses (PCA, FCA, MCA)
3. Common work and discussion about methods of multivariate analyses on real data, stemming from ade4 package or participants

Course attendance:
Free for participants belonging to a CUSO University (UniBE, UniFR, UniGE, UniL & UniNE).

200CHF for Academic participants

PhD students of the DPEE are eligible for reimbursement of incurred travel expenses by train (half-fare card, and 2nd class) and meals. Please send the original tickets (no copies, except for the general abonnement) and receipts with the reimbursement form to Caroline Betto-Colliard.

Priority is given to PhD students of the DPEE until November 1st, 2014.
