Description

The course presents the introduction to DNA evolution and to the DNA-based reconstruction of phylogenetic relationships. The students will learn how to use different programs of molecular phylogeny (PAUP, MrBayes, PhyML, Philip), statistical tests applied to phylogenetic reconstructions, and programs for divergence time inference.

Expenses

PhD students of the DPEE are eligible for reimbursement of incurred travel expenses by train (half-fare card, and 2nd class) and meals. Please send the original tickets (no copies, except for the general abonnement) with the reimbursement form to Caroline Betto-Colliard.
